The lost art of traditionally printed competition prints are available to you at BPL.  This service enables you to create a unique one-of-a-kind print with color matte options and highlight boarders.  The image can then be centered or offset to create your desired effect.  To insure outstanding quality, the final products are viewed and corrected at the lab using PPA competition scoring illumination.

This service includes:

  •   Free ColourWork Print
  •   16x20 or 20x24 sizes available
  •   High gloss clear spray
  •   Your choice of underlay color

Please allow our print technicians and artists up to 15 working days for this style of competition print.  Additional artwork is available by request.

A Few Simple Competition Print Tips:

  • Be sure to use a high quality print case to insure your images arrive to competition safely.

  • Place your competition entry form on top of your prints to allow for efficient sorting and tagging by the competition committee.  This will help assure your print doesn't get mislabeled.

  • Place all your prints face up in the case, with the exception of your top print, which you should stack face down.

  • Use cardboard cutouts between each print in your case to provide protection.  Plastic or bags can sometime stick to the prints finishing.

  • Ship your print early enough to insure it's received on time.  You may even want to send certified or signature required.

  • When completing your paperwork, add your PPA Membership number if you are a member for further identification.

  • Be sure to have your address and contact information affixed INSIDE your print case, this assures your case will arrive safely back at your studio.
